Mecia Hacks 2.0 was established with the aim of offering a vibrant and dynamic platform for young hacking enthusiasts to showcase their skills and creativity. This 24-hour hackathon is a thrilling event where like-minded individuals gather to transform their innovative ideas into reality. Hosted at the prestigious Sardar Vallabhbhai Institute of Technology in Vasad, the event promises to be an action-packed experience filled with collaboration, problem-solving, and technological advancements.

Participants will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, receive guidance from experienced mentors, and network with peers who share their passion for technology and innovation. Whether you are a seasoned hacker or a newcomer eager to learn, Mecia Hacks 2.0 welcomes you to dive into this immersive experience.

This year's hackathon will focus on many project domains, providing participants with a variety of avenues to explore and innovate.

1. Smart Rural Development

Participants can go for the following topics: IoT for agriculture, Rural healthcare solutions, Renewable energy in rural areas, Smart irrigation systems, E-governance for rural communities, Rural education platforms, Supply chain optimization for farmers, Rural connectivity and internet access, water conservation technologies and Affordable housing solutions for rural areas. 

2.  Environmental Sustainability

Participants can go for the following topics: Renewable energy solutions, Carbon footprint reduction, Climate change mitigation, Water conservation technologies, Sustainable agriculture, Waste management and recycling, Eco-friendly transportation, Green building design, Biodiversity protection and Environmental monitoring and data analytics.

3.  Smart Robotics and Drones

Participants can go for the following topics: Autonomous drones, Smart sensors, UAV navigation, IoT-based robotics, Remote-controlled planes, Drone delivery systems, Robotics in agriculture, IoT home automation, UAV surveillance, Industrial automation.

4. EdTech Innovations

5.  Waste Management Innovations

6. AgriFood Tech

7.  FinTech Security

8. Open Innovations

Participants are encouraged to explore open innovation by generating their own ideas in various areas, except above categories or domains, allowing for creativity and unique solutions to emerge that address different challenges and opportunities.
